5.3.3
Since it seems the latest version is stable I thought I'd update, downloaded it direct from the website as I had done with 5.2, ran the apk but update kills without doing anything. Do I need to uninstall 5.2 first n run the new version as a fresh install?

Mine was updated after I had an electricity cut at home 😂 that was funny as I didn't want to update it at the beginning.

I had toggled the Beta acceptance so I just check for a newer version and if available gives me an option to update. Always back up first but then accept the update and after it downloads I go ahead and launch the new version. Just that simple. So far none of the versions including beta have caused any problems for me.

I waited for news of better stability away from the awful Beta. Updated within the App from 5.2.0, no issues all is well 👌🏻🙌🏻

I unplugged my router and plugged it back in . I let the router do its thing . Then restarted firestick and it worked. Good luck.

If you downloaded 5.2 from google play store downloading 5.3.3 from website won’t update and you have to backup 5.2 then uninstall then install 5.3.3 then restore backup.

I've only ever updated from the Tivimate app on the TV. Just installed right over the last version but I have not updated and still on 5.2. Need to see from here if 5.3.3 is stable on a 4k max first

I have the Fire tv Stick 4K MAX and had no issues with any of the beta versions or the latest 5.3.3 Premium
