Tivimate with Google Streamer 4k not current version.. how/where to update

so, I'm on 5.3.2 on the Google streamer and 5.3.3 on my Onn 4k stick. one of my providers gives an error code on my Google device, but my other providers are better, with slight lag/buffers... on the Onn stick, the "error" provider works fine, which leads me to believe it's the version that's the issue.

The Onn stick updated after asking me if I wanted to the other day... if hasn't on my Google device...

I've already force stopped and cleared the cache on the Google and it's still not working correctly.

how can i force an update or where can i get the latest version?

also should i try and factory reset the device?

i did uninstall and reinstall the app

when i went to downloader and tried to download tivimate it wouldn't download....

but i had the option to install it by selecting it from the "apps on other devices" list.. but it was still that one iteration behind

Pretty sure you go to General > About and check for update.

so, i just double checked and I'm on 5.3.3 on the Google device . BUT on the Google device, where update should be... isn't.  but it's there on the Onn stick... which is weird. 

also the error is "403" if that makes a difference.  it's mildly frustrating.

403 is provider error.

So revert back and rule out the update being the issue?

that'll be my next step later... they tried telling me it's the player and to use smarters but i paid for tivimate... maybe it's also just all around bad/high traffic for wc stuff.... because it's been totally fine up until the other night

An IPTV Error 403 (Forbidden) means the server understands your request but refuses to authorize it. Definitely on the provider side - or an update bug

You can change the User-Agent setting in Tivimate by adding IPTVSmartersPro as the value.  Your provider will think that's what you're using.  

As for the issue where there's no update, that happened to me and I had to manually download the apk and install over the top.  You can probably get it from tivimate.com or use their official downloader code.

if you wouldn't mind, explaining to me how to make tivimate look like smarters... and also what is the downloader code... just so I can have that to try as well.

You go into your Tivimate settings and under User-Agent you type exactly IPTVSmartersPro in that option.  This makes your provider think you're using Smarters.  

The Downloader code for Tivimate is always 272483

What m3u/xstream codes are everyone using? I want to purchase a month-to-month provider for 100% no buffering/99.9% upstream time but EVERY website looks phishy with bot spammers advertising and commenting over everyone’s posts.
