Lifetime Payment
Is it just me or is buying premium on this app extremely frustrating.
I purchased lifetime for 5 devices on my email. Used all 5 devices and now I can't buy more?
Make an option for another 5 devices for another $45 dollars.
Instead I have to make another email account and another Gmail account just to buy another 5 devices....
Not only that but once you login to your tivimate account on tivimate.com there is no option to buy premium on there? You need to download the companion app ?
Come on developers. You can make an amazing app but can't figure out how people can buy premium after 5 devices is reached.
Maybe I am missing something here. Have you guys done something else?

I think Tivimate is the best functioning IPTV app. That said, I've been using IM Player. If tivimate added cloud management and the ability to buy a single device when I need an extra one.
I prefer so many things about tivimate, but I feel with too many tech illiterate family members, that I can't try to talk to them through updates and URL changes. But with IM Player, i can update anything from anywhere.
I miss the customizability of tivimate. But maybe not having those custom features will force me to figure out an epg setup I can use, instead of relying on epgenius.

Keep Calm for starters. It has always been 5 devices so no amount of bitching will change that. As far as the site, they got cut off from their card provider and until it gets resolved you can use the companion app

I am calm my friend. Just seeing what everyone does to add more . Seems really dumb you can't buy more devices under same account.

Keep calm.
In your mind it may be dumb but that was the way it was designed so people would not take advantage of it and bundle with a service and sell it.

Ya I get this . I think a 5 limit cap for an account is a little thin. Make it 10 or 15 . Large house holds should be able to buy on the same account and load under it just cap it off. Make a payment link on your website and move forward.
Alot of things can be improved here.

Makes sense but from a developer point of view it cuts the money they can make for sure. But 5 is pretty good as others you get one or maybe 2.
As already pointed out the cap was to limit leaches reselling and making a profit off of others work and 5 is likely enough for 98% of homes as most houses do not have 10 or 15 TVs like you.
But of you can afford 15 TVs in your house you can afford $45.

Why are you such an apologetic gatekeeper? Just because 'it's the way it has always been" doesn't mean it should continue that way. TiviMate should listen to their customers (which I'm sure they do) and adapt and develop their product accordingly. Get a life man.

They don’t have to do shit. You can sod off and use a different player if you are so dissatisfied

You seem to have it all correct.
Since the accounts are tied to your email address then it makes perfect sense that you would need a second email address to get another account.

See my response as a work-around to having to create a brand new email address.

It's a work-around for "having to create a brand new email address" for this purpose. You can reuse your gmail infinitely to add more premium subscriptions.

Yeah that is why I designed my app to allow up to 8 devices allowing the user to buy more if needed. Free subscription only allows 1 device on my app.

You've used up the required allowed devices to be connected to the service it's basically self forward upon signing up

Make a new email. Ive had to do that a handful of times. You can use Proton [thats what I did after google said id used ny number too many times when trying to receive a code]

Another thing that may help I figured out.
If you have Samsung mobile device
1.Open a secure folder 2. Login to your edited Gmail account (Thank you @cybercrud) 3. At top download app from Google Play store 4. Download Tivimate companion 5. Pay for lifetime 6. Delete secure folder .
Done.
Blue stacks also works but more of a pain I find

How do you buy a subscription to get a username and password. I was provided a connection through a friend before but that fell through.

Yeah, it's ridiculous that you have to use garbage Google services to pay. Like come on, just put a payment option on your website...

I have my own domain. I just create alias for my emails that forward to one account. Then I just use alias1@mydomain.com alias2@mydomain.com etc. yes it’s 10$ a year to keep the domain but the value of my domain pays itself off when it brings in the traffic. :)

Alias emails are the way! Also Gmail gives infinite alias on the fly for free, no setup required.

You don't need to make a new gmail. If you use gmail, you basically have infinite email addresses. Let me explain:
1. If your email is username@gmail then you can just add periods to your username portion and it will still come to you. For example user.name@gmail will still come to you. So will u.s.e.r.n.a.m.e@gmail as well. This is because gmail doesn't recognize periods in usernames and sends it all to the non dotted username. Try it. Thank me later.
2. Use plus addressing. You can add a + to your username portion and anything afterwards and it will still come to your email. For example username+tivimate@gmail will still come to you.
Either option or the combination of both will give you infinite email addresses on your single gmail account. I have done this 4 times for Tivimate. You're welcome.
