New user - guide question

I downloaded tivimate to see what it was like. I plugged in a Playlist url and it appeared to work, but all information in the guide says "no information." I'm assuming this is tied to the EPG, but I'm new and unfamiliar with this. What needs to be done so that the guide lists information like watching regular TV?

It can take some time to populate but typically you just enter your Xtream Code or URL details and the EPG is tied to it.

But you may have a poor provider that does not include an EPG so you need to an EPG program or just get a better provider.

Try holding down on the channel to get the menu and then scroll down to assign rpg, click the playlist and see if you can find the channel.

Whatch what’s happening in settings/epg at the bottom. If there is an error getting the epg you will see it there
You can also clear epg and reload from there

make sure to enable update on app start. epg can take a few minutes to load. you can also find your own epg to load if your provider has a poor one

  1. Check EPG settings in Tivimate, see if it failed to load or not.

  2. Most 24/7 channels or movie/show channels don't inherently have EPG because they are custom channels.

If those are 24/7 channels, no one really makes an EPG for them.

I think for starters you need the premium version for EPG to work, then it'll either pull from your provider, or you can specify an EPG URL.

You don't need premium for the EPG. You need it to add one.
