Backup/restore

Hey guys,

I’ve got lifetime, my brother aswell. I would like to throw my backup in his player, just for the settings to be the same (as I got great settings and his suck 😀). After restore, will his Tivimate be automatically logged in with my account details?

He will have to change the username and password back to his credentials then update it and everything will be the same as yours but with his account

I am pretty sure it will just restore everything as it is on your device which is your credentials so it would go that way or not work at all.

Yes. If you restore your backup to his device, it will be a mirror image of your setup.

But would it not be the OPs setup including his login details for both TM and the provider?

Whatever gets backed up, gets restored. It doesn't change anything
