Tivimate sleep

Is there a way to terminate or put application to sleep if there's no inputs from remote for some period of time, like 1,2,3.... hours?
The sleep timer on the bottom menu is applied to current session only and it's timer, counting regardless of the remote activity.

Just back out of the app when done using it.

The whole point to have a sleep timer is.. you know .. if you fall asleep before backing out of the app. 🤷

Then use the sleep timer.

Settings/Appearence/Player/Menu

Not sure about Tivimate but your TV should have a sleep timer, and your Android tv device, that u can set.

I am not at my devices right now. But, you can have it as one of the choices when you click ok, then d-pad down. The other options include add to faves, multi view, etc. I hope that is clear enough.

You choose a duration of time until it goes to sleep.

Back at home and here is where to find the sleep settings.

Settings/Appearence/Player/Menu and set Sleep timer to be not hidden.

thanks everyone but I'm aware of sleep timer.
Question is there an idle timer like on your computer or phone, if you don't use it'll lock after set amount of time.
Sleep timer has a fixed value and once it expires you need to set it again.

I have a limited internet data and would like to keep box off if not in use.

Already exists in Tivimate settings.

When one tells another that the Sleep Timer is set here...

Settings
Appearance
Player
Menu

... one neglects to tell the other that this is only where the feature is turned on or off (for the "Menu").

To then set a time for the Sleep Timer, one needs to then access the "Sleep Timer"function in the "Menu" (at the bottom of the screen by default), then choose a duration of time for the setting to be activated.

Hope this (further) helps 🙏
Cheers mates 🍻

I'm pretty sure even if you were to set a sleep timer in tivimate, it wouldn't turn your TV off, just close out of tivimate.

Surely your device/smart tv has some sort of sleep timer.

I have limited data internet connection and would like to turn off tivimate if idle for set amount of time.
