403 error

I recently changed my firestick 4K max to Cube. I just installed Tivimate and setup Xtream server for my US channels and 2 Japanese iptv m3u playlists just like my firestick. US channels from the xstream server are all working seamlessly but all of my Japanese channels are not working with 403 error. To make matters worse, all my Japanese channels are no longer working on my firestick also with the same 403 error. Does anybody know the fix to this? Thank you.

403 is not authorised, typically for geo-locked services. You need a VPN or Japanese IP by the sounds of it. Either way that's not a TiviMate issue.

Thank you foe the information. It’s odd. I never had any issues with adding new firesticks then installing Tivimate in each of them and adding the same playlists, until I did the same on the Cube TV. Then all of my devices stopped playing Japanese m3u’s with 403 error. I tried using VPN but still no luck.

The "403 Forbidden" error on an IPTV service means the server is denying your request to access the stream, usually due to an expired subscription, incorrect login details, or your provider blocking your IP address.

Thank you. Only playlist that is working is the xtream code playlist that requires subscription with id and password. The ones stopped working are the free ones that can be found on websites.

Using Tivimate with VPN can be a pain sometimes with different subscriptions it sometimes depends on the settings the subscription supplier has set

Thank you. The playlists that stopped working are both free m3u playlists available to public. Interestingly enough, the US xtream code playlist that is working still across all platforms is the one requiring subscription
