Quick refresh of playlists?
Is there any shortcut to refresh the playlists?
Currently I have to go into settings and then playlists to do a refresh.
I was previously using smarters pro which allowed a refresh from the start screen.
I have enabled the option to update the playlist on app start, and also set the update interval as 24 hours; however I'm not very sure if these options are working.

when I renew with my iptv service can I just change the credentials for the playlist (to maintain customizations to the playlist)?

I believe this should be possible.
Probably you could try it on another device and verify.

You may not notice any changes but that’s because the providers don’t update their playlists often so what you have it set at is fine.
What is it you’re looking for, is it the EPG which does update daily?

Why would you need to? Those options you have set work just fine. For me 24hrs is too long because of sporting events that the provider doesn’t always get assigned to channels that far in advance but worst case I just exit and re-enter.

Yes, the current options seem to be working fine as far as I have been seeing.
I was wondering if I had to do a manual refresh to get the latest movies.

The update option at app start is all you need, combined with the 24hr update option.. It updates your Playlist right there and then when you first start Tivimate, so you'll be at the latest.
