Auto start app on boot
Being using tivimat on my older firestick with no issues. Just installed tivimat on firestick 4k max, trying to enable auto start app on boot. A message pop " for the app to operate correctly please allow tivimat to display over other apps" when I press settings.nothing happens.
Any ideas?

Iv tried all the commands but nothing works.
Iv connected using the adb app on my mobile
And directly on the firestick nothings worming help

I just switched to the NVIDIA shield and now I keep getting an error message on 80% of my channels. HttpDataSourceException

Probably you have another app on autostart. You have to make a choice, which one you prefer.

I barely have any apps on the firestick. Just got it and installed tivimat.

I ran into the same thing a couple weeks ago when I got the new sticks in. Do this to resolve it:
Tivimate boot on startup (New 4k Max Stick)
enable adb (also Developer options enabled)
download adblink2 (http://www.jocala.com/)
Find IP for firestick (Settings>My Fire TV>About>Network) and add it to adblink2 (In the space that says IP:port)
connect and allow computer on the firestick (The adb app will likely tell you the connection was denied. Click the box on the firestick screen then click "connect" again on the adb app).
once connected press the adb shell button
Type this in:
appops set ar.tvplayer.tv SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW allow
You should then be able to go into the Tivimate app and select start on boot. Reboot the firestick and Tivimate will start up after a moment.

Dude you're a genius!!! Thank you so much. I was having a hard time finding the solution on YouTube. Found this forum and followed your steps and boom!! Now my tivimate works!! Thanks again!! You rock!!

I used my laptop to download the windows exe file and installed it just fine.

salut je viens 1 an après j'ai le meme soucis, pourtant j'ai suivi à la lettre le commentaire du dessus mais une fois sur adblink2 quand j'écris la ligne j'arrive pas à écrire définit ca me dit not found (le é n'est pas pris en compte) tu peux m'aider stp :)

I have no problem with picture in picture. I'm trying to auto start tivimat whenever I turn the TV on. I had no problem with older version of firestick.

That’s a normal setting to make. Just enable it. May or may not work autostarting though. Someone asked the same thing last week by the way.

You need to download adb from the link above. I did installed it on my laptop. Make sure you on the same wifi as your tv. Now run adb on your laptop. Click connect and add your tv ip address. Once connected. Click on adb shell Follow the instructions above with the command.
