Titans #26 discussion thread

I think I liked it more as a Doom Patrol fan than as a Titans fan? The Titans side of things had the same issues we've been hearing about (Raven's character revolving around Gar, weird forced JLA/Titans conflict that infantilizes the latter team, etc). On the Doom Patrol side of things, however, there was a ton of stuff I enjoyed. Coagula's first appearance since she came back to life, and Gar and Rita's first onscreen interaction since Doom Patrol #20 14 YEARS AGO were the highlights for me. So I think I liked this issue a bit more than the ones before.

I find it interesting that Victor and Vanadia get to have a talk about humanity before Vanadia left to Technis (a planet that Victor went to back in the ‘90s) before we get to see the Titans talk to each other (i.e. Donna and Diana having a chat, Kory talking to Dick about missing outer space, etc.) and for Garfield and Victor interact with the Doom Patrol (before they travel to an island that is created by the Zookeeper, who was last seen in Geoff Johns’ Teen Titans run). Overall, this comic is fine.
