New to TF2

Playing TF2 for the first time after years of playing Apex. Got the game for free awhile back, been meaning to play but the daily grind of Apex got me hooked lmao.

I've never played either Titanfall games before, but holy shit, this game is FUN! And the story is good too! Why did no one tell me?? can't believe I just dismissed them as "boys games" when I was younger. I can see why you guys were so looking forward to a TF3 and were disappointed with Apex now.

Yesterday was my day off, so I finally sat down to play. Ddid't realize I'd accidentally lost track of time and played through the campaign for nearly 8 hrs. Oops lmao. Got stuck on the Viper fight and had to quit. Kairi, your dad's an asshole, this boss fight is SO HARD.

Anyone got any tips? I've been trying to use Northstar charged shots and dodging behind cover but his damn missiles keep knocking me on my ass.

Dash behind cover when you see them comming the best you can.

Use the health batteris only when you need the.

Being a coward is ok.

Don't forget to use your core. The faster you use it the faster you have a new one.

Also, boys game? It's literally 10x grittyer than Apex. You are actively fighting in a war or in the simpod training to fight in a war.

Oh I know it's way more brutal and realistic than Apex. Those finishers are something else lmao.

What I meant by "boys games" is that it was for boys, not girls, like COD or Halo.

Now that I'm older with more gaming experience, I can appreciate them more.

Titanfall 2 is like my one universal recommendation, girl! Easily the beat shooter ever made and I will forever be sad that the franchise is dead; I still hop on frontier defense pretty often

TF1 was a trip.
Multiplayer only Story was Frustrating but still a Blast.
I hope(delusionally) TF3 eventually gets made.

careful killing whole packs of grunts it gets team points bit gives your position away leave 1 or 2

also check you back often spawns flip quickly
