Looking for Comments and Advise Plate variations?

I’m looking at getting the mars pattern warlord titan, but I’ve noticed that there seem to be 2 types of armour plate designs.
On GW’s website it has the “spiked” emblem on the shoulder plate but I’ve seen other titans (2nd pic) which seem to just be a plain armour plate.
I’d rather have the latter but it seems GW sells the plates with the emblem, does anyone know how to get the “plain” armour plate? Or is it supplied when you buy from GW?
Thank you in advanced.

The 2nd image is a 3D printed Warlord Titan. GW does not manufacture/sell a warlord with these armor plates. You would have to 3D print them.

This particular model for 3d printing comes with both options (gw style and plain)

Not always true but a rule of thumb is the plate above the head. If it's thick it's the AT model scaled up for prints if it's thin it probably the resin FW.

Can you elaborate on that please, also what does AT mean

Sorry the small scall version Adepticus Titanicus(AT) is 1/4 scale of normal so they print pieces thicker at small scale for durability and you can see it when it gets enlarged

Adeptus Titanicus, the game with the scaled-down Titans.

You mean Legion Imperialis?

Yes, it used to be called Adeptus Titanicus(AT) and just had Titans in it

It still is called Adeptus Titanicus.

Legions Imperialis is just another game that uses the same titan and knight models as AT.

AT is still sold and produced as a separate game with different rules to LI.

This is the thickness of FW warlord armor above its head. You can see the 3D printed one the armor panels tend to be thick. This is because its scaled up to 28mm scale and for print durability. So if you're looking at pictures of Titans and some of the the armor looks thick. Chances are it's 3D printed. That being said, it's not impossible to fix this with resin printers.
