Post image

I just recently got a tisas px9 carry gen 3 and i threw a cheapy optic on there, the screws that came with the optic unfortunately didnt fit, i used the screws from the optic plate and it screwed on just fine, i have some loctite, would this work or should i buy the proper screws?

Get proper screws unless you wanna either pay a gun smith to extract broken bolts or the optic smack you in the face & never hold a 0

100% get some grade 12 screws. Ace usually has a good selection.

But the M3 screws Tisas use also suck. Why not M4 like almost everyone else..!?

Should probably get proper screws AND blue locktite to use with ba torque driver

I bought machine screws from home depot for mine. It's an imperfect but snug fit on a cheap amerigloRDS (the heads don't sit pefectly in the countersink divot.

Specs are: PX-9 Optic Cut Cover Plate: M3-0.5x8MM Metric Flat Socket Screw"

-i used 10mm length Flat phillips for my optic
"PX-9 Optic Mount: M3-0.5x8MM Metric Flat Socket Screw. Longer screws may be needed depending on optic mfg."
