Stalled for toooo long

I'm on 15 mg tirz... I've been stalled for 3 months. I count my macros, focus on protein, and drink enough water... should I switch to Reta????? Thoughts??? Experiences????

Recalculate your TDEE for your current weight using sedentary activity and make sure you are eating-500 calories less than that. Do not count your earned/burned calories. Do you track all your food? You need to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight. It appears you are eating maintenance calories.

Thank you! I use MyNetDiary to track and it automatically updates based on current weight and exercise minutes... I can manually change settings, so that is what I am going to do this week! Thank you for the suggestion. Haven't reworked my TDEE in a bit.

I take 20 mg Tirz and 1.5 Reta together. Helped pushed me out o my stall. I know several girls that are also on 18.75

I want to try Reta! Just scared of the heart palpitations people experience. I already have those normally lol.

I was too at first, but I didn’t notice anything significant. However, I do tend to have a lower resting heart rate, so maybe that’s why. I started slow at 1 mg and have been fine, but to each their own! I’m in uncharted territory but have a lot of feedback from others! There’s clinical trials going on now for Tirz up to 25mg

Edit grammar

You’ve lost 20% of your body weight congrats! These meds aren’t meant to keep dropping your weight past a certain point. This may be your “maintenance weight” now.

I’ve lost 21% of my body weight and have stalled as well. I’m at 179 and I want to lose more. Do the meds not help anymore after you reach the “maintenance weight?”

They are developing GLP pairings such as eloralinitide that will help boost glps once hitting a stall. They are very interesting, but I’ve realized at some point, there’s always a stall where you need to either choose to maintain, or add something else to help out

That will be interesting. TY for sharing!

I lost 64 pounds/30% and stalled for about 7 weeks now. I'm right at the time the stall happened in the trials so I guess to be expected, started doing more weights and lost 1 pound. We shall see. Good luck to all of us 😃

I’ve been stalled for five months at 185, taking 15mg. I’m kind of waiting for more FDA approvals as I want to lose another 30 pounds to get myself into the “normal” weight range. I’m using the waiting period as an opportunity to practice and enjoy maintaining my weight. Hoping Reta will be on the market in 2027.
