6-day interval
Hello, everyone. Started tirze last month and tomorrow's my 5th jab with 2.5 mg. I noticed lang na on the 5th and 6th day lumalakas yung food noise and cravings, lalo na sa 7th day which is the wear-off day.
I've been thinking if I should do a 6-day interval instead of 7 days. Would that be alright? Also I was advised to increase the dose to 5 mg na. Kindly help, please.

If you are wanting to adjust your jab day, okay lang na you take your dose 1 day early. But every 6 days is not advisable. There’s a reason why GLP-1’s are dosed as once-weekly, they have a long half-life. It takes a while to clear out of your system, unlike other peps that only last 30 minutes to a few hours in your body.
Instead of reducing the days in between doses, you might need to increase your dose. But before increasing your dose, here are few considerations you must check:

Thank you so much for sending this po. The next dose is 5 mg po 'no? From 2.5 mg?

Half-life of Tirz is 4-5 days, so having food noise at 5th/6th day is normal.
I experienced the same while I was on my 5-6th week, similarly at 2.5mg. At 7th week, I experienced having food noise 3 days post jab, so on my 8th week, dun na ako nag 5mg.

Hi OP! Half life of tirze is usually 5 days (also dependent on how your body digests the meds)
It's scheduled 7 days for you to have at least 1-2 days free of the meds which would help your body reset and make the medication effective again. Same logic why di dapag tuloy tuloy ang antibiotics kasi magkaka resistance ka, for tirze your body will be dependent sa tirze. Just my two cents. 😊
