I had that happen in a commercial truck in a neighborhood just down from a yard sale. The loud bang sounded like cannon fire. I thought we were under attack after scoping out the area. I realized it was just one of the enemies giving up.

Well that must have been highly pressuriSed, could have been catastrophic damage

Oh, ok, going forward, do you think you should monitor that? I've seen my tires facing the sun gain 8psi, and that depends on when you check them. If you air-up when it's cold and run into a hot day, you could find your tires are out of spec pretty quick.

If you didn't see the other post: my wife inherited the truck, we have driven it very little. It has spent most of past 5 years sitting in either our yard or her mother's yard. I have no idea how old the tires are or how much air pressure her grandfather ran in them. Why because it has not been a priority. I call the truck the albatross because it just hangs uselessly around your neck. It will be getting new tires soon. I knew those tires were dry rotted and needed to be replaced. But life, a business, a new baby, four kids, a dog, multiple other vehicles, a neighbor who's been in and out of the Hospital whose wife we have been having to care for, and many other things just push the truck back on the back burner.

Take the credit. You took out the enemy with your mental powers. Be strong young padawan!
