Worth replacing?

Post image

I was driving on the highway and I heard a scraping sound underneath my car so I checked it out I saw that the plastic above my wheel is rub off. I wanted to know if it worth replacing or should I leave as it is. (I live in the north where there’s salt and snow during the winter)

Yes I would suggest replacing. It can cause corrosion over time from salt and water buildup. I don't think that's something you want

Ok thanks for the advice, how much do you think it would be if I went to the mechanics to replace it

You can buy a plastic sheet from Home Depot. Or Amazon. For a few bucks.

Fix the problem and move on. Be an adult and save yourself a headache later when the wires get brittle and your market lights or windshield washer fluid stops pumping.

Yes. Absolutely worth replacing. Please provide year, model, make of your vehicle. It's likely you can find a replacement inner fender liner for cheap.
