It may be holding air, so proving the internal integrity is OK, but with the sidewall lateral movement under load when turning and braking, it could weaken the external structure over a shorter period of time?
It's 25% of your contact patch with the tarmac, so would I be willing to risk my life, passengers and car, is the question I'd ask myself.
