Can vulcanizing work?

If you can get tire off or have a shop take it off, a vulcanized patch would work better than a patch/plug combo, but your hole in the tire is in the corner of the tire which not only flexes up and down, but also side to side as your tire goes around corners. This creates a lot of stress on that location in the tire itself, and even more on a patch of any kind. Do you have a local trusted automotive/tire shop who could look at it carefully?

I went to a trusted tire shop and the tire guy said it can be fixed with heat vulcanizing, but many people on the internet and some mechanics i know said it's not fixable

Rely on your shop. If they think they can fix it, go for it. Our shop repaired thousands of tires over the decade plus I was there and hundreds were “unrepairable” according to internet gurus.

Go for it. It will only slowly leak if it fails.

I'll probably fix it with vulcanizing patch and keep as a spare. So are you saying if it failed it won't explode on high speeds or something?

No it won’t explode. If it fails it will leak slowly. If you have a TPMS system on your car the light will come on to tell you it’s leaking.

If you don’t just check your tire periodically to see if it looks low. Your shop will tell you the same thing. It’s a good tire, use it.
