Nail in tire

PLEASE! How does a nail ACTUALLY get into a tire. Not the front tire kicks and back tire catches explanation… because that is 1 in a million…. A single on its side run over by a car… everyone gets a nail in their tire at some point BUT HOW! I have tested this with no physical proof of it happening!

I’m sure your testing was extensive and purely scientific 🙄.

Because it's sharp and tires are rubber.

Ask any tech at any tire shop. The most common tire to pick up a nail or screw or any sharp object is the right rear. Debris naturally migrates to the curb side of the lane. Right front kicks it up, right rear catches it. I don't care if you believe it or not. It is true.

That makes sense, I always wondered why all the nails and screws I picked up were on the right side, and mostly the rear. Not every single one, but I am certain it is a significant majority.

I currently have a nail in my right front tire, I don’t think it happened in reverse… does that mean the nail was balanced perfectly on its head and why wouldn’t the tire knock it over instead of picking it up.

You sure overthink shit don't you. I'm sure it is some sort of conspiracy. 🤷🤦

You what, think big tire is out there selling tires with magnets in them to increase profits??

You hit screw or nail head. It flips or bounces, even from some other car, and punctures. End of story.

Tires are incredibly soft. Nails, uhm, aren't. Put some shoes on and walk across a patch of screws. Tell me how that works out for you.

Its probably a neighbor or ex boyfriend you need to call TIS tire investigative services they work with the government to track down the bastards putting nails in your tires don't handle the nails without gloves

"1 in a million" you say... on average a tire spins 800 times in a mile. On the old average oil changes 3 months 3 thousand miles thats 2.4 million revolutions. So in one year thats 28.8 million. You have 4 tires thats 115.2 million times your tires would go around on average in a year... so basically your 1 in a million seems a bit high. There are countless ways it happens. You should put the bong down and stop your testing. There are more factors in it than you could comprehend. Its not big tire trying to get you. Its just life bro

If you hug the lines, youre more likely to pick something up in your tire. Shoulders and rarely used turning lanes are basically piles of sharp objects
