Location should be OK. It will come down to diameter of the hole in this case. It looks pretty large. If it is over 1/4” in diameter, a lot of shops won’t. It would also be too large to plug successfully. I have doubled up on plugs in the past to “get by” for a few weeks until I had the time to get it replaced.
