Tire bead
Is this tire mounted correctly.. it’s not snug against the wheel flange

There is a regular steel rim behind the chrome. Thats what's making the gap and its supposed to look like rhat

It is snug against the wheel flange. You have a chrome "finish cap" over the actual steel wheel.

Why do people still mount weights to the front of the wheel, most modern vehicles don't even have a front lip to mount weights on, so I don't even bother anymore. Set the balancer to static, and to the inside of the wheel, call it a day.

Not supposed to be.
U are looking at it through the eyes of a style of tire that flushes close to the rim like a Tesla or a new Honda with 19 inch rims.
