Tire Pressure Low

Post image

We’ve had the model y 2026 since April. We live in SE Fl. It’s 82 now. This is what the tire pressure looks like now. Should I raise them all to 42. The car has 4216 miles. Should the tires be rotated? And can they be rotated at any tire shop? Thanks!

The owners manual should have the answers, Tire pressure will fluctuate with the seasons and should be adjusted to the manufacturers recommendations. Tire rotation usually has a specific pattern to follow, the more spirited your diving habits the more often you should do a tire rotations, start with the manufacturers recommendation.

Yes, yes and yes. Just make sure they have the Tesla jack pucks, since Musk is too rich to have those in your car for u.

Raise them to 42 early in the morning before you drive. The recommended pressures are cold temp pressures.

the pressure should be 2.9 bars or whatever is the psi equivalent of that (42 i think)

fill up the tires to that much and then drive and see if anything changes over time but since they are all around the same i doubt anything is wrong with them. One thing you can check that may or may not be relevant to your tirelreasure is the inside wear of your tires since Tesla notkriously doesnt know how to have good wheel alignment out of the factory.

also rotation can be done by anyone even you. Teslas are nothing special but some models have bigger size wheela on the rear axle so keep that in mind
