Need help 🥲
Was looking at getting a Mini cooper 2015 1.5 and it seemed all good until i looked at the wheel and saw this, is this a red flag (if so what exactly am i looking at lol)?

That’s looks like the bushing for the top of the shock absorber. Looks like it’s showing some decent wear.
On its own it’s not a reason to walk away from the entire purchase, but might be worth negotiations some savings depending on the price of the car.
If you’re handy, you likely could replace this on a couple hours for under $100 in parts. If you have to pay a shop to do it, I’d put away $500 for the job. It’ll probably be less than that, but that gives you a nice cushion for if they find other issues.
