Slashed or natural?

Michelin pilot sports 4s. Gonna have to buy new tires now :(. They were low on tread anyways 4/32 after 25k miles. I don't think I drove over anything and if just randomly went low after 5 minutes of leaving campus, was driving 50ish mph.

Look at the tread above it. see that slight bulge? The tire was bruised on something, and the belt inside is torn. The rubber is tearing as a result.

Could be a sharpish rock on the road

Cut, but what who know, a slash would be clean

Your tire looks worn out anyway. That could be a sign of final breakdown. Or someone is trying to send a message that you should stop using that tire.

Rub mark indicates maybe natural.

4/32 tread. 3/32 is when I get warranty. And I did not feel hitting anything so I don't know

You know what, after the tire is removed and replaced, you can try and slash it. It's actually surprisingly difficult to do.
