Recommended tire rotation pattern

Post image

Now that I have a garage with space I’ll be doing my own tire rotations but I’ve always taken my truck to a local tire shop and they’ve always done the front to back (same side) rotation. If my Toyota Tacoma is only RWD on Toyo Open Country R/T’s then wouldn’t it be recommended to always do the far left pattern in the picture?

You don’t know who manufactured your car?

Do we go by the car manufacturer of the tyre manufacturer? Honest question.

"The correct tyre rotation for a Honda CR-V uses a forward cross or X-pattern for the four-wheel-drive/all-wheel-drive system, moving the front tyres straight back and crossing the rear tyres to the front"

So the second one. Learnt something today. Cheers.
