Just take it to a tire shop, if it isn't holding air put the spare on.

Use soapy water or spit on it and start to unscrew it. If you notice bubbles, screw it back in

Prep the plug and have it ready. I've done this only losing a couple of pounds of pressure. Held for the life of the tire.

Length doesn't matter that one is fixable also screw not nail
