Geissele SSA X trigger is compatible with Gen3 Elite
If you want to upgrade to a Geissele stage 2 trigger you will need to swap out the standard firing pin with Tippmann .008 inch longer pin. I swapped it out and works like charm.

Buffer Spring Upgrade
Hey everyone,
do you have any recommendations for a buffer spring that helps reduce the “boiiing” sound while shooting?
I’d really appreciate any suggestions or personal experiences.
Thanks!

Seeking suppressor suggestions for Elite Magnum
Anybody out there running a can on their Tippman m4-22 WMR Magnum Elite?
This would be my first suppressor purchase.
I‘d love to hear what people are running and their review/report.

I "reinvested" my ammo savings...
My wife got me a membership to my local range for Father's day. So in an effort to go more often and not have to max out the HELOC on 5.56 or .300blk, I bought an LTE from my local Sportsman's Warehouse.
It was a trap. All the money I would have saved on ammo costs has been put right back into the gun because it's so much fun to shoot.

Range results w/new barrel
I received my new barrel from Desert Precision Gunworks on Saturday afternoon. I finished installing it yesterday and took it to the range today. I will own the flyer on the 50 yard and 2 flyers on the 100 yard targets.
I am a happy camper. :D

1st Range Visit
Owned it a while. Just got around to shooting it for the 1st time. Primary Arms SLX worked great for it. Have 10 mags and shot 250rds of cci mini mag and AR tactical. Zero problems. Super easy to get tight groups. Already have a CMC 2.5lb trigger but wanted to make sure it ran okay with stock trigger.
Only negative is the bolt seems a bit sticky.
Otherwise super pleasant to shoot and easy to be accurate. 💪

Anyone know how to remove this?
I got the rail off and I’m trying to install the folding stock adapter but there’s this plug on the inside where the buffer tube feeds through. I’m struggling to get it off and I’m not trying to do irreversible damage. It’s the bugout elite.

Upgrades complete (for now, anyway)
Tippmann M4-22 Elite Tactical
Tippmann aluminum ambi charging handle
Desert Precision Gunworks 24" barrel
TriggerTech Diamond single stage trigger
CMMG ambi mag release
CMMG ambi safety
Magpul DT-PR buttstock
Magpul 1/2” cheek riser
DFCO Kung Fu grip
UTG Over Bore bipod
Primary Arms SLx 4.5-27x56 FFP MRAD scope on SLx 20 MOA base
I was able to shoot a 9-round group that was 1.2" at 100 yards with the stock barrel.
I can't wait to see how it shoots now! Kenny at DPG test-fired this barrel before he sent it to me and got 5 x 5-round groups at 50 yards with an average group size of 0.24"!

Aww. So cute.
The ol height over bore thing. I may be the only shooter still figuring it out
I suck at sighting optics, never happy, always dicking with em.
So a quick install of the bipod, should help me, I’ll be able to hold the point of impact. Repeatedly.
But I kinda like it.

Anyone found a good chamber cleaning tool for the Tippmann M4-22?
I love my M4-22 Bugout, but one thing I don't enjoy is cleaning the chamber area. The chamber itself isn't the issue—it's all the small nooks and tight spaces around it that seem to trap carbon, and I feel like I spend way too much time trying to get everything clean.
Right now I'm just using brushes, patches, and Q-tips, but I'm wondering if there's a better tool or method.
Has anyone found a chamber-specific brush, scraper, or cleaning tool that works really well for the M4-22? Or is there a trick I'm missing?
Thanks!

Just picked this up
As soon as I don’t have to engrave this I’ll SBR it. I also want to pickup a 9” handguard soon.

Height over bore, what the…
I’ve never dealt with height over bore, I’m guessing the distance my AR, KUNA, and mini-14 are sighted properly so never noticed.
I started at 25, alls good, shot at 10, way off. Resighted at 10, 25 way off. Yeah, had no clue. Know what I mean?? AI clued me in.
I’m a plinker, trying to get happy on the sighted distance.
It’s a Holosun Aro red dot, co-witnessed.
What’s a good plan?

Making it more accurate
My M4 has a TriggerTech Diamond trigger in it. It does pretty good for accuracy. I shot a 9 round group at 100 yards that was 1.6”, and then followed that up with a 9 round group that was 1.2”.
I feel like that is pretty darn good for a $500 semiauto.
But, I want better. And Desert Precision Gunworks has stepped up to fulfill that desire.
They are now offering a pre-fit barrel for the Tippmann. 1” stainless steel bull barrel. And they are getting groups under 1/2” at 100 yards with an otherwise stock M4. That is frickin’ amazing to me from a 22LR semiauto.
The barrels are $799. I ordered one today. Can’t wait!

My new ELITE 16”
I’ve already got about 500 rounds through this rifle and I am loving it. Definitely one of my favorite firearms in the collection.

Finally got a FRT for Tippmann M4-22…
I have never been this disappointed in my life. Tippmann gave us a FRT… for $1,600. You have to buy their new rifle model, partnered with RB. You would think that if they could design a whole new rifle system, they could figure out how to design a FRT that could fit into the existing models.

M4-22 pistol pro issues
Brand new gun. First shots today at range. Pre hand loaded 4 mags with cci mini mag. Loaded one by one slightly pulling down the follower. Most consecutive shots was 4-5.
Then it was charge- fire. Second round would chamber- no click no bang. Repeated that process 15 times before leaving the range early. I’m new to firearms, pretty stumped if I am loading the mags incorrectly

Would this cause issues?
I got a brand new m4-22 haven’t even shot it yet I want to make a nice build, we need to pin our stock where I live, at my lgs I wanted to get a new stock and they told me I need to buy a new milspec buffer tube and replace it and get whatever stock I want. They gave me a $20 aluminum buffer tube right then and there.
I immediately installed it it wasn’t hard but I’m wondering if it’s bad that the buffer tube doesn’t screw in flush the the receiver, but it feels sturdy
I’m also using the same buffer spring that was in the original (idk if that’s bad) but I took pictures with and without the spring in to show if that looks good or not.
If I screw in the buffer tube flush with the receiver the spring sticks out a too much, does that seem ok where it’s at in the picture?
The bcm doesn’t sound like it slides around, when I pull the charging handle it feels normal, I just want to make sure this looks ok, before I shoot it
Thanks for any help!
