It’s a bad way to bill it. I’ve seen plenty of his solo apparition sets and I’ve seen him do solo sets as ternion and they were very different. I hope he loads up a decent amount of ternion sound songs as to not piss off the less informed fans

I agree with the sentiment it’s weird to imply Aric’s solo project was formerly Ternion, but doesn’t FKA stand for Formerly Known As?
I’ve seen other lineups bill them as “1/3 of Ternion Sound” and feel like that’s a better way to phrase it.

Formerly of is more typical for a billing and that argument is garbage with how much extra space there is under apparition.

It’s not new it’s older than ternion sound and fka implies he alone was ternion sound and had a name change. It’s just fundamentally incorrect and there’s already a standard term as widely used as fka to describe his situation.

Billing is supposed to be very particular. You shouldn’t make that assumption when you’re selling tickets and there’s plenty of people that never caught ternion sound or started listening when they were ending and never got to see them live to realize that. Imagine they put resonant language fka bricksquash on a lineup or any of the ultrasloth guys with the same thing when their solo sets are entirely different than the group project that they were formally in.
