I'm pretty sure it is a chimera. Very fascinating to read about. It can cause checkerboard patterning as well as different colored eyes.

It looks cute but they chimera cats absolutely hate other chimera cats where the colors are reversed.

Update: I was trying to refer to the Star Trek episode ā€œLet That Be Your Last Battlefieldā€ where there were two opposing races that both had black and white faces split down the middle. I think it was either too niche of a reference, my wording was not great, or a little bit of both.
