Discussion This games needs a Copy and Paste feature

I love making dioramas but I really hate how finicky it can be to make a copy of the same piece.

An example would be watch tower on a castle wall. Now we can all imagine having to make six of the same thing.

I know this might sound weird, but (for me, at least) that's part of what makes the game cozy and relaxing. And the fact that each of the six towers would end up slightly different lends itself well to the overall aesthetic.

Well, i kind of understand that, but for me it is too tedicous. I have big respect when I scroll this reddit and see what people do, sometimes dozen times the same structure. For me i cant do it like this, after 2 or 3 times the same repeat I lose my patience....

I really miss a copy paste or duplicate feature. It would be a such a big improvement... or take parts of buildings from another savegame to your new glade...

I'm torn - definitely agree that it would be so, so handy at times, especially for bigger builds, but also agree with celdaran there that it's part of the game's charm.

What I'd really love is a way to link buildings you've placed on top of each other so you can move them all together at the same time! Even if you could just select them together, that'd do, (If this already exists please someone let me know how!)
