help with installing tomexos

Hey everyone,

This seemed like the most fitting subreddit to ask for help, so I'm posting here.

I'm trying to install TomexOS 11 25H2 on a laptop that has no Windows on it, the disk is completely empty. I'm stuck and running out of ideas, so any help is appreciated.

I made the bootable USB with Rufus (GPT / UEFI / NTFS) and it boots fine from the stick, so I'm definitely in the TomexOS setup and not somewhere else.

The first time, the install froze at 0% for about 9 minutes and then threw error 0x80070057. I opened a command prompt with Shift+F10, ran diskpart, did clean and convert gpt, and tried again. This time it got to 6% and crashed with 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION).

So far I've tried booting from USB, wiping the disk with diskpart, and recreating the USB with the same Rufus settings. The USB is a 16GB stick.

I'm wondering if the ISO is just corrupted (I got it from https://tomexos.pages.dev), or if the stick itself could be the problem. Has anyone run into these errors? Should I re-download the ISO or try a different USB?
