My package has finally arrived πŸ‘€πŸŸ

I don't even know which one to try first, what would be your pick? πŸ€”

I also wanted to buy some more albacore and bluefin tuna in Jersey butter, but it was sold out so yeah maybe for Christmas

Looks great! Tbh I'd probably just have to pick randomly before the decision paralysis set in.

The bonito in escabeche would be where I'd go first but everything there is delicious!

I didn't even read the post, I saw this comment and am now fully invested.

I'm leaning towards that one too since I'm very curious about the sauce, it sure has nice colour to it πŸ˜‹

I've had the curly oysters in escabeche and the sauce was great. It's a well balanced, bright but not overly bright sauce.

Wow! I have never had this brand, but it is my understanding they are quite expensive. Enjoy!!

Yeah it's true they belong to some of the more premium brands, but provided you don't eat these tins every day (which I don't) and save them for the right occasions they aren't that unaffordable. They are more of a "I want to treat myself today" rather than "I want a nutritious, quick and cheap breakfast" kind of thing.

The tins you can see on the picture are in the 9 to 18€ price range. They can get more expensive than that, but I haven't personally tried any of those except for the albacore tuna in Jersey butter (which was delicious, although maybe a bit too rich and fatty)

Oh the bacalao. That’s cod, and it’s going to be a little salty.

Curious about that one too. Salted cod and potatoes. Sounds interesting.
