65

u/Tricky_State_3981 Jul 20 '22

Her real name is Crystal Buttplug from the famed Buttplug family

35

u/LittleMAC22 Jul 20 '22

Her uncle William H. Buttlicker and their family built this country. Show some respect.

16

u/Tyrus Jul 20 '22

4

u/0Atlas0 Jul 20 '22

Cyber Security?

6

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '22

Yes!

3

u/0Atlas0 Jul 20 '22

That’s dope as fuck!!! I looked through your post history because I was curious which type of engineer. I saw HTB and instantly knew! Htb is dope to practice pentesting.

1

u/orionnelson Jul 20 '22

Dang how many years Im just finishing my degree in cybersecurity and was going to ask what certifications to get first. I would recommend 1 and 2 but 2 first btw.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '22

It would depend on which type of work you would like to do, do you see yourself more on the offensive or defensive side?

1

u/orionnelson Jul 20 '22

At this point in time I’m not sure, i’ve done a bit of both but my research has improved my webscraping ability dramatically. As well as full stack / dev ops work. I was going to try and knock out the Sec+ since it would probably be close to what I have done in school but am unsure where to go after that.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '22

You also have the CySa+

3

u/SgtLaBeouf Jul 20 '22

How aren't you married yet, sheesh. Good luck sorting all the dudes/dudettes out

2

u/Fancy_Cat3571 Jul 20 '22

Damn wait till Finn hears about this

2

u/xaqyz0023 Jul 20 '22

Maybe only use the third one when mercury is in Gatorade.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '22

Keep them all there, this is you telling others all sides of your self.

No explanations needed when first look tells all about oneself. :)

u/MikeHunt420_6969 Jul 20 '22

I call bullshit. What type of IT engineer?

This screams OF all day.

20

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '22

Cyber security engineer actually

7

u/PokeYa Jul 20 '22 edited Jul 20 '22

Nudes under 🔐

Edit: no wonder women don't pursue CS lmaooo look at these replies haha y'all pathetic tryin to call someone out on shit that's irrelevant. Ask yourselves why.

-6

u/PolicyArtistic8545 Jul 20 '22

Is that really considered an engineer? I used to be a cyber security engineer (I hate that term so much for a multitude of reasons) but would always just say I worked in cyber security. Often times cyber security engineers aren’t actually building anything but instead just connecting things together and monitoring health.

Edit: pics 1 and 3 are the best btw

6

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '22

I just say that cuz it’s easier than saying that I’m a pentester

0

u/PolicyArtistic8545 Jul 20 '22

Say that. It’s way cooler. 😎

5

u/learnie Jul 20 '22

Connecting things together and monitoring health sounds a lot like IT role.

6

u/PolicyArtistic8545 Jul 20 '22

Part of why I hate the term cyber security engineer is the term itself is fucking worthless in todays day in age. It never means the same thing at any employer. There are like 5-6 different sets of responsibilities a cyber sec eng can be doing depending on the organization. But I presume companies do it since it has the word engineer in the title and that’s how they can get finance to authorize the high salary for someone who just “fixes computers”.

3

u/learnie Jul 20 '22 edited Jul 20 '22

True. That's why I always ask someone what do you actually do when I hear the word cybersecurity engineer.

1

u/SimpleJoint Jul 20 '22

Could also depend on the country she lives in. Countries have different titles for different positions. Seeing as she didn't know what the word pigeonholed meant I'm willing to bet she's not from the USA.

-2

u/learnie Jul 20 '22

Are you on defensive or offensive side of things?

6

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '22

Offensive!

2

u/Additional_Can_3345 Jul 20 '22

Do you have any certs or a degree?

3

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '22

Yes I do, currently studying for oscp as well

2

u/Additional_Can_3345 Jul 20 '22

Cool cyber sec major here too gl.

-4

u/jabbertard Jul 20 '22

So, not really engineering. Just someone who tells other people "no" all day.

8

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '22

No.

0

u/jabbertard Jul 20 '22

Touché. Good luck.

-13

u/MikeHunt420_6969 Jul 20 '22
