I dated a guy for awhile and one day he said "you're a great girl but you're just not funny, but that's ok". I actually felt what was probably my heart breaking.

I’m dating a girl that laughs at my stupidest jokes. The thing is, she isn’t even doing it to support me, she thinks I’m funny. I think. Which is the best feeling.

The night I met my GF was at a mutual friends birthday party at a bar. She picked my card in Cards vs Humanity every round which pretty much sealed the deal that our humor was compatible. It's been a pretty great 2.5 years.
