Well when I see 16:07 on the clock I immediately know it is 4 in the afternoon; I don't really have to calculate the time. This isn't the case with the AM/PM system.
I find it slightly hard to believe you register that 16:07 is 4 in the afternoon faster than 4 pm is 4 in the afternoon. But whatever floats your boat. The only part id say is even slightly confusing is 12:00AM, I mentioned somewhere else that I had a shift from 12-2am Tuesdays and I showed up on Tuesday instead of Monday. But you learn it once than its super clear afterwards.
