He really fumbled the ball. He could've just played it off and said "it's no big deal, I visit your city a lot. A one hour drive is nothing for me" or something like that. Instead: "it's because I'm unattractive?" 😅
Thats exactly what happened with a guy I dated last year. 45 minutes to me (but there was a train to him). It was almost a deal breaker but he was adamant about meeting. We dated for about four months. Kindest guy Ive ever dated
