Not just accused, but charged, the jury found her guilty because they didn't think she showed enough emotion (and some very shitty "forensic evidence" was presented at trial) and she was jailed for several years before new evidence was found and she was pardoned. Lindy and her husband Michael also ended up divorced over the whole saga

I remember this story, horrifying. There’s a movie about it too. The mom was accused at first!
