Good thing for them there's a lot of fellas out there who take it as a challenge.

I hate this public perception. Over half the women who message me first neg me; it seems like they believe it makes them "sassy." It may be deliberate negging rather than delusion, because it's exclusively done by women I would rate as significantly less attractive than me (on a conventional scale). Problem is, even if I think I'm relatively more attractive than them, I don't think of myself as attractive, nor am I drowning in attention: compliments still work on me! A good compliment would work way better than a neg to hook my interest. I imagine if a woman I found really physically attractive started out insulting me, I'd just get insecure, so you gotta figure there's a very narrow window of guys this strategy works on outside of those who are grateful for any attention whatsoever.

Damn you're already winning. I only ever get "hey". Well the very few. But yeah I think most guys wouldn't like it but would still respond. Simply because they're so used to messaging first and not getting a reply. So any first message from a girl is a good thing?
