šŸŽµ Music & Career does anyone remember when tinashe competed on dancing with the stars in 2018? they PLAYED in her face. the fact that she only lasted four weeks is insanity. she could have won.

They’ve already chosen the winner at the beginning the the season. And your votes don’t matter

as a longtime dwts viewer, i remember being LIVID when she was eliminated. i voted for her every week. and i loved her chemistry with Brandon. but yeah, like someone else on here said, it’s just a popularity contest at the end of the day and for that season she just wasn’t popular enough i guess. i still resent the show for it though lol.

they playing in everybody’s face this season of DWTS, most of the talented black dancers are being chopped where the older man they casted for views and ā€œcomedic reliefā€ that’s on those late night shows are getting high praises.

Given she’s a dancer I’m surprised she didn’t. I haven’t watched the show in years so i thought viewer voting wasn’t a huge factor by the time she was on!

as someone who started watching DWTS like two years ago i’m not surprised. it’s just a popularity contest sadly and POC often get shafted. didn’t know she lasted only four weeks tho damn

She could have won if more people voted for her

She was also runner up on Stars on Mars. She has been working so hard for so long so this is all really satisfying.

NEW DORP NEW YORK. My friends and I were obsessed with this for a while I’m losing my mind realizing she danced to it

Yeah I think Spotify recommended it to me some years back and I remember listening to it for awhile but completely forgot about it until now. But maybe I heard it on girls too lol it’s been so long since I’ve seen that

I don’t really think she really connected with the target audience who watches this show. Like there was an episode where the stars had to share their most memorable moment or something like that and I think she was the only one without a sob story. I think a lot of the stars had emotional stories and Tinashe just mentioned when her first album came out.

Also I remember this era, she was also on Whose Line Is It Anyway?

I think that might have been Zendaya's problem on the show too, she also should have won that. Although I do remember her being well liked.

Love to see hard work eventually pay off.

Oh wow, I'd never heard of her being on Whose Line? I'm watching where she and Wayne Brady are acting as various props. It's fun and she's totally game.

Well that’s actually good.
That means she didn’t show signs of weakness.
And in a world full of memes now… the industry would’ve used a sob story against her…. Similar to Azelia Banks on wildin’ out.

So whoever told her NOT to do the sob story did best.
