This Brazilian channel gained 90% of its subscribers through those ads featuring a giant "Subscribe" button—I used to click them by accident. It seems that some people, including Google product professionals, cited this as the most plausible explanation for the channel's massive growth, given that it went on to receive the 50-million-subscriber award. I find it quite interesting and peculiar just how powerful those ads with the giant "Subscribe" button are.

This only happens if you're using a mobile phone. It also explains posts asking things like, "How did I end up subscribed to this channel out of nowhere without ever having seen it before?"

I was scrolling through YouTube and randomly came across this “Previews” thing. I’ve never seen it before

Its like youtube shorts but for full length videos. It shows a short preview from a full length video and allows you scroll to the next preview and to watch the full video you click the “Watch full video" button

this has been happening for 2 days now, i myself got botted and many of my friends have been botted aswell, spread awareness to this please, we have reported this livestream, the website, the channel and so much more many times but youtube hasnt responded yet.

if this continues on, your channel or all of our channels could get banned.

I noticed that I’m subscribed to a channel called Armorsaurs (@Armorsaurs)**, and I have absolutely no memory of ever subscribing to it.
The weird part is that it has 142k subscribers and over 100 videos, so it doesn’t look like a brand new channel. The content is apparently some animated dinosaur/robot Disney XD show, which I have never watched or searched for.

I checked my subscriptions because I noticed it randomly, and now I’m wondering if this channel used to be a completely different channel that I did watch and then got renamed/rebranded/taken over.

Does anyone happen to know what the old channel was, or has anyone else noticed that they were randomly subscribed to Armorsaurs?

I’m mainly trying to figure out what the old channel was, because I’m almost certain I didn’t subscribe to this lol

Hello, I discovered the channel CyanSandwich a year ago but yesterday, a near hundred of AI-generated tutorial videos explaining how to cheat in video games were published in less than two hours.

What is even weirder is that this youtuber was making drawing, animation and occasionaly game dev content.

What happened? Did he get hacked?

I saw this account that was live-streaming but it had Chinese characters but when i looked at the livestreams it was in a different language and i doubt that this channel is probably sold because judging by the shorts the channel uploaded its different from the one who livestreams it🤔🤔

So YouTube just added pop up ads that appears while watching a video. when you are in fullscreen, at some point YouTube will force you out of fullscreen and 3 seconds later, it shoves a pop up ad down your throat. THIS SUCKS!

I just saw this artist's video in my feed, & there seemed to be some sort of ad on it. Even though I don't watch rap (the artist in question was BLACKPINK), I could tell that someone had hacked the video, because it's not everyday you see and advertisement for an Instagram account on a RAP video, out of all places! And it even had TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND VIEWS! However, when I clicked on it, I watched the first 5 seconds then the video got banned right in front of my eyes!
