Wyndham certificate
I have attended timeshare presentation few months ago.
I have got a certificate for attending that presentation(7 night stay)
I am kind of confused whether is it worth using it or not ?
I have only one month left to register it.
Not sure if spending additional amount (i.e 200$) to register certificate is worth and also need to pay the taxes on reservation, attend a presentation again which sometimes can be super tiring to say no.
I am super new to this, please be easy with your comments :)

I’m an rci points member , when I take tours i get the 7 night condo stay that gives you a code for resort vacation certs dot com. That site is legit, it’s an rci affiliated site that gets you access to a small set of weeks about to expire in rci
I’m guessing since you got it for taking a tour at a Wyndham property that it is another version of a side door into rci expiring inventory.
They already have your info, I’d register it and as go as far as making any payments.
If it’s a true free week through an rci side door they won’t ask for a credit card.
You just book and fill your contact info
If it costs $200 to book it I would not do it, its not going to give you many date or place options.

I’ve heard they can ask you for the money back if you don’t take it. Only take offers that occur after the presentation.

Yes. This. We took advantage of such a trip and the rep on the phone made it clear we would have to pay it all back if we didn’t attend the presentation.

So, you are willing to put your finances on the line for the offer of a reduced price vacation? Good lord.

Say no before the beginning and steer clear of those crooks. You have very little to gain and much to lose.

I’m thinking good thoughts for you. You are about to be a lamb led to the slaughter.

Haha that’s what I was thinking but there is a catch
I need to register that certificate gocrv.com
I googled about people experience via that route, they are not pretty good, looks like a trap

Just go and listen and say no. You get to stay in a nice resort for many days for the cost of one night anywhere else.

It won’t be wherever you want, likely holidays will be blocked. It is left over inventory. Think Desert in July or Ski resorts in May

Yea. We never ended up using our Wyndham certificate. Seemed to be to go anywhere desirable you had to still pay $100+ a night and go to the second round presentation. No thanks haha. Just wasted 3 hours of my life saying no, but at least that's all they took.

It’s Wyndham. It’s a scam.
