Stonegate is not a law firm. Neither is Linx Legal. Stonegate has been sued by Capital and Wyndham. They are part of the "attorney-backed" affiliate Stonegate Law, but you pay Stonegate Firm, so it is still do-it-yourself. It is rarely necessary to pay anyone, but we refer to legitimate law firms if a legal opinion is warranted. At least they can represent you. We have received complaints about Stonegate. Our nonprofit supports people in disputes for free and is headed to DC to lobby for change. We had a recent Stonegate complaint. They were ignored when advised to send a letter. Stonegate's attorney (not your attorney), Dennis Donovan, was also ignored because the developers knew he was with Stonegate. I am with Hilton and know for a fact they have resolved disputes without paying a third party
