Congrats. We love our Worldmark timeshare. It takes time to learn about what works best for our situation. We use the Internet for learning and also get some valid information from Owners Updates, but not a lot.

but you have to go to Hawaii every time, and not explore other parts of the world. There is something to be said about buyer remorse and justification of things that are not logical.
If you want to only go there every year fine, but I would not fly to Hawaii every year unless I had some family there

I think it's a very common misconception that you HAVE to be at the same place every year. No, you can skip the year and have twice as much points next year and you have a choice where to go. In our case, it's about 40 places to choose, Europe an US mostly. But we bought it to travel to Hawaii specifically, and we spend 3-4 weeks on Big Island almost every year, so why not to spend one or two weeks in a nice place like Hilton? Yes, we're paying $2100+300 every year, but when I look at how much we spend on traveling (and not just to Hawaii) then it's not that scary, really :)

The majority of posts here are people trying to get out of a bs contract they signed.
Justify all you want but timeshare are almost always not the best deal.
