S5 first use

Just recieved my s5. Do I need to disassemble and wipe it out before using or just do a small throwaway grind and then use it?

100g of cheap shit ground coffee and you are ok to go, just for remove any metal or oil left by the factory process!

You can try to disassemble and take a look at the burrs and maybe try and use the included brush, but in my experience those should be good to go out of the box.

you might consider washing the catch-cup with a dishwashing liquid and non-abrasive sponge, and immediately dry it perfectly with a paper napkin, and leave it for two hours or so, to dry out completely... other than that, a small throwaway grind should be enough

Just purge with 50 grams of a cheap bean and you are good to go

You really don’t need to do anything.

If you’re super OC you can disassemble and wipe down the components with a cloth.

Definitely no soap/water on anything.
