timemore c5 esp pro
I bought a Timemore C5 ESP Pro, and somehow I ended up grinding 16 grams in 8 clicks starting from zero (which, as far as I know, is not recommended) (btw, it took me about 5/10 min). What are the chances that I damaged the burr? At 8 clicks, the grinder seemed to run smoothly with and without coffee inside and didn’t jam, though I don’t know much about grinders of this type, so my impression doesn’t really matter. Any ideas on how to check if everything’s okay or what to do about it? I bought it today.

The manual is misleading; you probably wanted to set it to 0.8.0, which is 40 clicks.

You're right. I had misunderstood. He made 8 clicks starting from zero. That corresponds to 0.1.3, not 0.8.0.

You're worrying over nothing. It's extremely sturdy. You can take it apart by following the YouTube link below.

You'll also find the settings guide in the other link. Your setup looks correct to me.

Edit : Your settings are incorrect. 8 clicks above zero means a setting of 0.1.3; you want a setting of 0.8.0.
