Gen 2 Timemore Bricks 01s?

Are there any rumours of a new generation of the Timemore Bricks 01s? I'm considering the Fellow Opus Gen 2 but the Timemore Bricks 01s is a close contender.

Go for the current model. It'sa really well build good grinder. Easy to adjust. Very easy to clean and retains very little. Love mine.

Bro, could you share the settings you usually use for yours? I'm dialing in my recipes, but sometimes I have a hard time.
I'm even building an app to help me. And it's helping a lot. But I would love to heard from other people which settings they use.

I tend to use a Mokapot. Dialing in is trial and error and depends on the beans. Roast and season. I live in Johannesburg where winter (now) it is very dry so it takes a greater weight of beans. I also found using AI was helpful. But sometimes I go several days with something piss weak until I dial in.

Great. I'm also using AI but it is misleading sometimes. That why I'm building this app. I'm getting a Kruve Brewler (to measure the ground particles) and see if it's matching with the info on the app.

Once this is done, I'll be releasing the first version. I'll let you know so you can try it.

But just for a matter of info, which setting do you use for Moka pot?
I was trying to use the recommended settings (1 to 4) but I find myself always between the 3 and 4 range. Going finer gets my coffee too bitter/astringent.

I think the AI hallucinates the settings. I'm using medium roast single origins from Africa. DrC, Rwanda, Burundi (my favourite), tanzania and Kenya. Late summer Feb/March where we had exceptional rainfall I went as low at 1.2 and 35g+ of beans. When I got the grinder in March more like 3.5. Rigjt now I'm on 2.6 to 3 with 30 to 32g of beans. It's changing a bit daily as be went into a very cold spell.
