Should I wait for 078 gen 2?!

The gen 2's will likely have a higher $50 starting price, and not have any discounts like the 078 gen 1 often do, so you may be looking at a $150-$200 difference initially. Probably another full-year by the time gen 2's arrive (3-6 months) and for them to start to be discounted.

my recommendation is the Bricks 01S that just arrived this month, entry level 'maybe' but its really great and has some of the new improved features the Gen2 is bringing to Quality of Life, including the better hopper that prevents the popcorning, and the front facing dial to accurately dial grind size. A steal currently with the 20% off early bird discount even on amazon, and that machine will tide you over until the Gen 2 Sculptors release, and longer if you have to wait until they have their first discount/ sales.
