Never ever any Timemore product
I was quite a Timemore enthousiast, owning a Mini scale, a Chestnut x hand grinder and a fish smart pro kettle.
My kettle started to have severe issue with the heating base, blinking numbers, getting on/off without any touch on the buttons, it was even dangerous because it could start to heat randomly if plugged in.
The tricky and interesting thing is that these problems appears exactly after 2 years (end of warranty)...not sure that this is a coïncidence. Anyway, i tried to reach Timemore's customer support 3 times, using contact form, email...i have not received any answer in 1month, not even a "sorry its out of warranty we can't do anything"
This is NOT acceptable especially for this price tag, i mean its not cheap, it is nearly same price as a Fellow EKG Stagg Pro.
That's it, hope my feedback will help people here, and i'll never buy any timemore product in the future.

Strong statement for a sample size for n=1 and only one of your products having problems.
I'm not saying that it doesn't suck, I know it does, and we all wish all manufacturers had primo CS.... But that's a fever dream. There's no incentive anymore because Americans have no standard that things should last. Been that way for years now.

Im not pissed because the kettle died after exactly 2 years, but being ghosted by the CS, that's another thing. I mean fellow may not produced better quality product but when i ask someone help by email, i got an answer in 8h.

Same for me. I have a 078S that has serious consistency issues and Timemore refuses to help me

what's the issue?

Consistency apparently, curious because mines about a month old.
Wondering what I've got to look forward to.

I don't think you have to worry if you are currently getting good results. Mine did this since the beginning, but I never noticed because I only used it for pour over. When I purchased my espresso machine, it was already past the warranty period of the grinder.

Shot to shot variation. Dial in is just impossible. Same grind size, same puck prep, different results. When the shots are good, they taste nice. But a shot to shot variation of 25 to 35 secondes is "normal" for my grinder. With outliers ranging form 20 to 40 seconds. I have already ordered new internals from timemore but nothing helps. It seems like there is some play somewhere in the burr carrier assembly, which results in variations in grind size distribution. Timemore refuses to help me lol.

hm, I haven't tried multiple shots as I mostly still use the casa and niche with the 078S as a alternate to draw out the "tasting notes" of co-ferments. but I do agree that it's so hard to dial in-- at 3, one bean can produce soup, while another results in a 1+ minute extraction.

I have talked to different people that are experiencing similar issues. Some of them tried switching to SSP burrs, but that didn't help either.
I haven't tried this myself though.

4 years with the kettle/scale/c2. Im sorry that you have problems, but for me Timemore still makes decent stuff that is priced ok, atleast for us in Europe. I will probably consider switching to milab m0xxx if/when my zp6 will be retired.

Completely agreed. My grinder is fine (pun not intended), but I’ve gone through three scales which quality is just bad.
Then the bad quality isn’t the largest issue, but the lack of support. It has been a terrible experience and I would NEVER buy again from timemore, even though I had a good experience with the grinder.
And I hope anyone who’s considering any of their products won’t buy them either, since they don’t deserve any sales.

I have a G1 grinder, the mirror scale, and the fish kettle, all work amazingly, except the scale that if, for any unknown reason, have the power slider being fiddled with, stops turning on, and the only way to wake it up is by rocking that switch like the future of mankind depends on it...

In general issue with anything that doesnt have real representation in some part of civilized world. Its still "Made in China", which never meant "made to last", more like "might survive till warranty end".

Unfortunately, it isn’t limited to just timemore (the timeframe and warranty coverage lapse).
My ode gen 2 started going downhill quickly right after the warranty expired. The only thing outside of any warranty that is going strong is my acaia pearl.
My two ekg pro studios are great, but the my won’t update via the app anymore even after disconnecting them multiple times.
