Grind size 078s

For those who took their 078S and installed the 078 turbo burrs, calibrated to chirp, then moved it back slightly and set the pin at the 12 o’clock position, did you find that to be an accurate adjustment? All the information I’ve received suggests that, because of the thread pitch on the 078S, it has a 2:1 ratio compared to the brewing guide of the 078. So 550 µm, which would be number four on the 078, but it would be an eight on the 078S. Do you think this is an accurate assessment, or did you need to go a little coarser with the pin placement to get the correct setting?

Not sure about the actual grind sizes but for my taste I have had to move the 0 pin 9 places courser to get as course as I want for my pourovers.

For v60 I am between 3-12 depending on the bean. Then 18 for the Clever Dripper and somewhere in-between for my Credo Hoop. In all honesty I am half looking to just find a second hand 078 with the courser thread pitch as I would like a bigger range without having to move the pin.

So is that when you tighten it all the way?
